About David Harrison

David Harrison represents clients in litigation and arbitration matters before FINRA (formerly NASD and NYSE) and in state and federal courts. Throughout his career, he has concentrated on representing investors, with a particular focus on high-net-worth individuals, celebrities, and professional athletes.

Mr. Harrison's career in the securities industry began after he earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Southern California. He started as a Series 7-licensed registered representative at Shearson Lehman Brothers, gaining valuable firsthand industry experience while pursuing his law degree.

While attending Southwestern School of Law, Mr. Harrison served as a judicial clerk for the Honorable Joseph Reichmann of the United States District Court for the Central District of California. After graduating, he joined the New York City District Attorney's Office as an assistant district attorney, where he gained significant trial experience — directing on-site police investigations, conducting grand jury prosecutions, drafting search warrants, and prosecuting individuals for fraud and other crimes.

Following his tenure as a prosecutor, Mr. Harrison worked as an in-house attorney at Morgan Stanley Dean Witter. This position provided him with invaluable insight into how brokerage firms defend against allegations of stockbroker fraud from both investors and regulators — insight he now uses exclusively on behalf of investors.

Mr. Harrison has been quoted on securities-related matters in national publications including Money Magazine, Bloomberg Tax, USA Today, Financial Advisor IQ, and the Los Angeles Times.
